Lauren Alaina - "Road Less Traveled" Review

Lauren Alaina spent FIVE long years writing for her new album, “Road Less Travelled”. The time she spent on this is extremely evident. Each and every lyric comes from an honest and soulful place which, as a result, can bring any listener on an emotional journey. Upon first listening to this album, I immediately was shocked by Lauren’s voice. I mean, this girl’s got PIPES – and it seems to come to her naturally and flawlessly. This girl is literally the Demi Lovato of country music. Executing nearly impossible runs in an extremely high register, truly impeccable. I cannot say enough good things about this album. It is extremely personal, honest, and EMPOWERING. When in an interview with Sound

Seth Ennis - Woke Up In Nashville Review

Seth Ennis, quickly rising country singer, recently released his debut single, “Woke Up in Nashville.” Honestly, what is not to love about this song? Upon first hearing it, I had ALL the feels. The premise of the song is a man who is pursuing his dream as a musician but loses the love of his life in the process. He comes to this realization and longs to have this woman back, and would give up his dream for her. Through his honest and heart tugging lyrics, Seth expresses that his dream isn’t worth it if she isn’t a part of his life. All he can think about is her. The chorus is basically his monologue toward her via phone. “Thought everything I wanted was in this town, but you were all that I

Jake was simply asked by a fan what his favorite color was, and created an entire music video in response. He must have extra time on his hands while he is not touring. That’s Classic Media’s Austin and Colin, (known for their viral “Welcome to Nashville” spoof video), are also featured in the video. The video is essentially a “rap” stressing the importance of Owens “Seafoam Green” obsession. The staple of the video, Owens famous VW bus, was driven around with th

Dierks Bentley - "Black" Review

From receiving over a dozen Grammy nominations to platinum albums, it’s no question that Dierks Bentley has seen an immense amount of success in his now 15-year career. Bentley has released ten studio albums and has headlined 11 tours. Dierks Bentley’s newest album, Black, is his most beautifully vulnerable album yet. Before its release, Bentley claimed it to be just as, if not more personal than his previous hit album, Riser. When Dierks described his album to Taste of Country, he said, “The songs on Black range from the lonesomeness of an impossible relationship to ones that describe the feeling of finding that person that makes you forget the one that broke your heart.” Through his writin
