Are You Ready For CMA Country Christmas?

This year’s edition of CMA Country Christmas is one you will definitely not want to miss. Filled with grand, sparkling performances and large range of genres, this year’s special caters to any music lover, no matter what the genre.

This special, hosted by Jennifer Nettles, airs on November 28th on ABC at 8:00 EST. The show was filmed in the first week of November at the Grand Ole Opry, which was transformed into a winter wonderland for the night. This year’s edition features a large array of some of the most well-known country artists of then and now.

Kelsea Ballerini morphs into a jazz singer to perform “The Christmas Song” and “My Favorite Things.” Brett Eldrege performs swoon-worthy covers of the well-known classics, “Let it Snow” and “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas”. Eldrege’s rendition of “O Holy Night” receives a standing ovation. Rascall Flatts puts on a grand performance of “Joy to the World”. A stunning version of “Hark the Herald Angels Sing”, performed by Sarah McLachlan, causes chills to all who listen. Kacey Musgraves takes us to the beach during her rendition of the Hawaiian classic, “Mele Kalikimaka.” Oh, and we can’t forget those heart-warming collaborations. Brad Paisley and Chris Young combine to present a beautifully executed version of “The First Noel”. Nettles teams up with two special guests Idna Menzel and Andra Day, putting on breathtaking performances.

There is even more that we cannot yet reveal – including an action packed opening number and a duet between country music legends. This, including the sparkling lights, gorgeous Christmas trees, and falling snow, this is sure to get you in the Christmas spirit.

Mark your calendars for November 28th at 8pm EST– this is one you truly don’t want to miss!
