Pilgrimage Music Festival Returns for a Third Year with it's Heaviest Hitting Line-up Yet!!!
Wowzers! Triumphantly returning for a third year in beautiful Franklin, Tennessee, the 2017 Pilgrimage Festival boasts perhaps its strongest and most star-studded lineup to date. After such a killer debut lineup in 2015 featuring stars like Willie Nelson, Wilco, Chris Stapleton, Sheryl Crow, and Weezer (which I was very fortunate to attend), I didn't think they could possibly set up a bill to top that.
In my opinion, the 2016 lineup was solid, but couldn't compare to that of the previous year. However, I've been BLOWN away by what a nutso lineup they've produced for this year, with so many heavy hitters from all across the board!
Justin Timberlake, perhaps the biggest pop star of our time, and also a resident of the small town of Leiper's Fork, just outside of Franklin, has made the move from a production role in 2016's Pilgrimage Festival to a headlining spot! If you know anything about JT, you know that he and Chris Stapleton are pretty buddy-buddy and newly neighbors. I would be very shocked if the big man himself didn't make a surprise guest appearance in this set!
In addition to JT, Eddie Vedder, singer from the iconic 90's grunge band Pearl Jam, is headlining with a solo set; Ryan Adams will be there to satisfy all of your sad boy cravings; The Avett Brothers, who always bring an unbeatable amount of energy to every stage; and far too many others to get specific about every one of them (though I will mention other personal favorites include Gary Clark Jr., Shovels and Rope, Nikki Lane, Langhorne Slim, and Big Sam's Funky Nation).
Make your plans and get your tickets now while they last!
Pilgrimage Festival will be from 10am-8pm on September 23rd and 24th and is sure to be a spectacular experience for all in attendance! Kid and family friendly, with a kids stage and lots of fun activities.
