Country Star, "Voice" coach, and resident Twitter fiend, Blake Shelton, has just received the honor of being "officially sexy" for the first time in his life. Of course, it didn't take long for the internet to react to this HOT news! Friends and fans of Shelton's have taken to social media to voice their opinions on People Magazine's 2017 choice.

Friend and fellow country artist Lukey B (Luke Bryan to some) was quick to attack Shelton and the People responsible for making the decision. "I’m speechless. He’s taken so many things from me. And now this," Bryan said. "Who in the hell is choosing these? Am I being punked? And we’re sure that y’all didn’t Photoshop [his] face over [my] face and change the name? ... I guess we're all stuck with it."

While this definitely wasn't the nicest reaction out there, some people have been freaking VICIOUS about this. Tearing Shelton apart with their 140 characters all filled with hate! LISTEN, HE HAS SOME NICE FEATURES, HE'S FUNNY AND CHARMING, AND HE SINGS LIKE A FREAKING ANGEL. JUST LET HIM HAVE THIS.
