David Austin reveals the lonely lifestyle of a touring musician in single, “Alone For Now.”

“I just don’t want to look back in 30 years and think, man I wish I had gone after this dream harder.”

Tour life as a musician is extremely difficult, and to some, simply unfeasible. However artist David Austin proves that he is willing to make sacrifices in order to pursue his dreams. The single describes the need to figure out oneself and dreams before letting anyone else on board. In an Instagram post about the song, David explains, “This song is about that chase and the need to figure yourself and your dreams out before letting somebody else on board.” He uses the vulnerability of the song to encourage others who may experience loneliness and burnout from pursuing ones dreams. “I just don’t want to look back in 30 years and think, ‘man I wish I had gone after this dream harder,” says Austin.

After two and a half years of not releasing music - David shows that he has a place in the music industry. The song has an upbeat catchy tempo that discloses his talent as both an artist and songwriter.
