On Repeat: Karli Ryan "Young Girl"
After auditioning for American Idol in 2019, Karli Ryan found more inspiration to make music. This month, she released a brand new single “Young Girl.” Ryan is working with Grammy and Emmy award-winning recording engineer, mixer, and producer Jamie Tate to create her music. “This song is for every time I have ever been told ‘no’,” said Ryan. “It’s for the times I’ve been told that timing is everything and I’m just ‘too young.’ The support I’ve been shown has made me realize that being ‘too young’ isn’t a disadvantage, it’s a reminder that I have the rest of my life to get to where I want to be. I think ‘Young Girl’ is a great place to start.”
Even though she was turned down by American Idol judges Katy Perry and Lionel Richie, country music star Luke Bryan saw star potential in Karli Ryan. She says that she learned a lot from the advice given by the judges and being told no just made her drive for success even stronger. Throughout life, being told no can make people slow down and become discouraged, but it is not that way for Ryan. “Young Girl” portrays her strength and inspiration as a young girl in the music industry. With her country vibe and powerful vocals, Ryan’s journey with music is only getting started. Check out “Young Girl” now and be ready to listen to it on repeat!
