"Do You Wanna" Check Out the New Eric Van Houten EP? Heck YES you do!

Are you looking for a good time? Well then look no further! This new three song EP from Eric Van Houten is a party on a disc!

Having spent the last few years on the road with acts like Kip Moore, Chris Young, Jake Owen and Old Dominion, Eric Van Houten has learned what it takes to entertain a crowd. In this EP, you can hear the passion and energy he carries of what feels like a live performance burned straight onto a record.

The EP begins with the track "Do You Wanna". This tune is the story of an old love coming back into town and a revival of the good old times had together. It begins with some delay-heavy guitar, reminiscent of U2's "Where the Streets Have No Name" but more countryfied. The track builds from there, all throughout the verse until the the catchy chorus that you won't be able to get out of your head for the rest of the day smacks you in the face with, "Are you looking for a good time?". I know that I am. And this song will give it to you.

The next song, "Get in my Arms" has a slower and more sultry feel during the verses and then cranks it back up for another high energy chorus. "Lighting a spark here in the dark, feel the fire between you and me girl." This tune is sensual and seductive, and boy does it get hot in here when this track plays!

Finally, "Runaway Love" closes out the EP, in the same powerful, high-energy fashion with which it began. This song is about being there to comfort a brokenhearted girl and convincing her to run away with him to solve her problems. Van Houten knows he can take this girl out of this town that will tear her down and be better for her then anyone else could be. In this track, he captures all of the excitement and freedom that comes with this kind of romantic escapade.

The only problem that comes from listening to this EP is wishing that it was longer! However, at the rate he's going, I have no doubts that there will be a full length project coming from Eric Van Houten soon (and believe me, as soon as one is announced, we will be sure to let you know)!
