Shock Rocker Alice Cooper Reps Nashville Predators Jersey at TPAC Performance!!!

The hype surrounding the Nashville Predators during this playoff season has been wild! All of the Nashvillians have been rallying around their team and WOOTING along as they push their through the playoffs! One fan of the team you might not have expected is rock n roll legend, Alice Cooper!

Last night, Alice Cooper brought his brand of horror and theatrical rock to the Tennessee Performing Arts Center. It was a special night for music, with Alice playing the majority of the show with his new band, and then the lineup for his original band making an appearance to play the last few songs. In the frenzied finale of his anthem, "Schools Out", Cooper came out rocking his own custom Predators jersey (with the number 18 on the back in reference to his hit "I'm Eighteen").

Unlike many of the bandwagoners (get it, BAND) who jump on board when a team starts to do well, this isn't Alice's first appearance supporting the Nashville hockey team. In 2011, while in town to record an album, Alice came out to a Predators vs Redwings game to perform with country music legend, Vince Gill! In an interview following the game, Alice stated that hockey is his favorite live sport to watch, and that with Nashville becoming a second home, he had become a Predators fan!

The Predators are currently in a playoff series against the Anaheim Ducks. As of last night, the series is tied 1-1, with the next game being tomorrow night, May 16, at 7 PM central time. Be like Alice and grab your Predators jerseys and cheer loud and long for them tomorrow night and all the way to the championship!!!
