Luke Combs Is 'Growin' Up and Gettin' Old'

Luke Combs released the first single off his next album “Gettin’ Old,” which is to be released on March 24. “Growin’ Up And Gettin’ Old” serves as both the first track on the album as well as a link between Luke Combs last album “Growin’ Up” and his upcoming project “Gettin’ Old.” The two albums together make up what is essentially a double album released at separate times.

The concept album(s) are created to reflect the time of life that a person goes through in their late 20s and early 30s when life seems, as Combs says in the song, “in the middle of Growin’ Up and Gettin’ Old.” The overarching theme is that constant back and forth where you still do the things that someone in their early 20s would do, while at the same time becoming more focused on a home life and having more responsibility.
