Grammy-winning Latin pop star, Bad Bunny, made sure Super Bowl LX was something to remember with his performance during halftime last night. Heavily inspired by Puerto Rican culture, symbolism and messges of love were laced throughout the entire performance. Beginning with "Titi Me Pregunto" off his 2022 album, "Un Verono Sin Ti", he danced through a field of farmers and salesmen offering him various items infused with Puerto Rican tradition. Some other notable songs include "BAILE INoLVIDABLE", "NUEVAYoL", "EoO", and "Voy a Llevarte Pa' PR". The show fit a grand total of fourteen songs into the twelve minute performance.
The show featured numerous sets with countless dancers supporting the performance. It also included a wedding, a young Bad Bunny recieving a grammy from his future self, and the waving of flags from all the countries in the Americas. It was even confirmed later that the wedding between the couple was real. Lady Gaga also made a surprise appearance, performing her Grammy-winning collaboration, "Die With a Smile". The reprise was accompanied with a dance number between her and Bad Bunny that was as fun as it was impressive. Some other notable appearances as background dancers included Cardi B, Pedro Pascal, and Jessica Alba. Ricky Martin also recieved a segment of the show while dancers hung and twirled from telephone the show concluded with Bad Bunny spiking a football that read "Together we are America" with the message, "The Only Thing Stronger Than Hate is Love" displayed on the jumbotrons.
The only English words he spoke the entire show were "God Bless America". However, you didn't need to understand Spanish to catch the vibe. Bad Bunny's message during the halftime show seemed to be quite clear: "America" doesn't just refer to the United States.
