Metric's Quest To Redefine: 'Romanticize The Dive'
It's such a powerful thing to be able to listen to something and feel the haziness of a distant memory. There’s nothing there with this; it was released only a few days ago, but I think that adds to the concept.

Alex Krawczyk – Wonders Await: Folk Music with a Pulse, a Purpose, and a Quiet Swagger
At first glance, Wonders Await, the second album from Alex Krawczyk, appears to belong firmly in the tradition of reflective singer-songwriter folk: acoustic guitars, thoughtful lyrics, warm production, and songs about healing, hope, and emotional endurance. But spend time with it and something else emerges. Beneath the calm surface lies a surprising confidence—a record that understands subtlety can hit just as hard as volume. Produced and co-written with Robbie Roth, Wonders

In the Current: Elvira Kalnik’s ‘Water Knows’ Finds Clarity in Surrender
“Water Knows” unfolds like a meditation you didn’t know you needed—one that begins in tension and gradually loosens its grip, inviting the listener into a space of release. Rooted firmly in the contemporary folk and singer-songwriter tradition, this is a song that understands the power of restraint—and uses it to quietly draw the listener in.

Just in Time to End Spring on a High Note: Superbloom - Jessie Ware
Right off the bat you get a sense that this album represents a different aspect of the alternative pop space. The transition from 'The Garden Prelude' into 'I Could Get Used To This' showcasses the immense production power behind this LP including James Ford, Karma Kid, Barney Lister, Stuart Price, and Jon Shave to name a few.

‘This is Lorelei’ releases second Deluxe version, featuring MJ Lenderman, Momma, Waxahatchee, and others
In perhaps a half-contrast to the twangy pop featured in the original ‘Box for Buddy, Box for Star’, many of the tracks on the second (yes, second!) deluxe addition have a down-to-earth indie-twang direction captained by many of the most prominent figures in this sub-genre. You have beautiful renditions that completely flip the script to the original songs, but retain the original’s sense of self.

Back In Blue: Jack White Takes No breaks From Nonstop Rocking
Further cementing himself as one of the greatest guitarists, Jack White’s latest features incredible runs and solos while maintaining a rather easy-listening blues-rock front. Fans can hope that the release of these two tracks signals a soon-to-come album release, but more to come on that.
