Scott Brown Nominated to be Ambassador to New Zealand. Have You Checked Out His INSANELY Talented Da
On April 20, President Donald Trump nominated former Massachusetts Senator, 35 year Army National Guard veteran (retiring in 2014 with the rank of colonel), and former MODEL???, Scott Brown, for the position of Ambassador to New Zealand; a decision that appeased both Republicans and Democrats alike. WOW. Quite the hefty list of accomplishments for this guy. It seems like anyone would be pretty proud to achieve just one of these feats within their lifetime. But have you checked out his equally talented and stupidly well-rounded daughter, Ayla Brown???
I recently had the privilege to interview Scott's beautiful and accomplished daughter, Ayla Brown (check out our interview on Crank It's home page and under video interviews), and I can tell you that she is someone that you want to be keeping your eye on.
Ayla first came into the public eye back in 2006. She rose through the ranks on Season 5 of American Idol to finish in the Top 16 when she was only 17 years old! Shortly after she finished that, she attended Boston College with a full basketball scholarship. So not only can she sing with the best of them, but she can also ball out on the court with the best of them. To just play basketball at the collegiate level while maintaining a singing career is pretty incredible, but she wasn't just another girl riding the bench. In her time playing in the NCAA, she became the sixth leading scorer in Massachusetts basketball history, male or female, and still holds that record today!
In the realm of music, Ayla has produced three full studio albums, two EP's, and a live album with The James Montgomery Blues Band and The Uptown Horns. She's opened up for country music giants such as Darius Rucker, Josh Turner, Jason Aldean, the Marshall Tucker Band, and Loretta Lynn! She has also spent a lot of time performing for troops overseas, and held a residency as the official National Anthem singer for the home games of the Philadelphia 76ers! So, all of this and not to mention the fact that she's freaking BEAUTIFUL!
At this point, you're probably asking yourself, "Why have I not been CRANKIN it to Ayla Brown for years now?" "How can all of these incredible talents and gifts be wrapped up into just one person??" "When does she find time to SLEEP?!?!?" Stop asking questions and get to know the lovely and talented Miss Ayla Brown right NOW. Her latest single, "Take Your Name" is available any place you can find music so get on it! Below is a link to a video of Ayla and her dad playing together on Fox & Friends.
