We Got the Horses in the Back

There's a lot of controversy about whether Lil Nas X's song "Old Town Road" is country or not, but Billy Ray Cyrus doesn't see why. After the original song was taken down from Billboard's Country Chart, the Achey Breaky Artist jumped in for the remix that could only be improved by the return of his mullet.

The remix, which is still considered Country by Billboard, has been #1 on the charts for the past couple of days, and you only have to give it a listen to understand why. The song opens with Cyrus adding some country twang to Lil Nas X's original lyrics, followed by a couple verses by Lil Nas himself. Yes, Lil Nas' delivery is a little different than typical country music, but the meat of the song is there. He raps about horses, bull riding, boots, cowboy hats (albeit from Gucci), and Wrangler's; come on! What's more country than a pair of Wranglers??? Then Billy Ray really opens it up with a verse that is sure to leave your tractor speakers in flames.
