Drew Smith's "Exes"
Drew Smith shows his raw emotions in his latest single “Exes.” He describes his feelings behind the break up and is honest about still picking up the phone when she calls in the middle of the night - because he doesn’t want to be exes.
Referring to “too much history and so many memories” Smith describes the feeling of still loving someone but knowing you have to part ways.“We talk about it, cry it out and say it’s better off this way. Call me bitter but I don’t really think it’s better off this way.” A line that many fans can relate to and belt out in the shower.
Smith does a beautiful job putting this yearning, heartbroken desire into words that his fans can relate and sing along to.
