Lily Grace has shown her effortless charisma and charm throughout all of her projects. From songs like "Wingwoman" to "The Two of Us Met", Lily Grace radiates enthusiasm. Her effortless magnetism has built her a rock steady fanbase throughout the years. But with "Talk", she flips the script ever so slightly.
"Talk" has a mean bark and an even meaner bite to it that ropes you in from the very beginning. It's almost as if the guitar is telling you to stay a while and listen to Lily Grace rock the stage with her catchy vocals and her upbeat but reflective tone in this song.
In "Talk", Lily Grace talks about a man who lied all of the time. Hence one of the main lyrics that hits like a freight train, "Think I figured out what your language is....You just talk shit!" Man, those lyrics hit! Lily Grace does not hold back in this song at all. This isn't the only section where she does this.
In the second verse, she talks about talking to the man's mom and tell her what her son did to her. Ouch! But with all of the punctuality of the lyrics, the musicianship is on point. Lily Grace sells the song with her irresistible vocals and the catchy guitar hook that will bounce around in your head for days on end. The overall groove will have you bobbing your head non-stop as the song chugs along to the beat of Lily Grace.
"Talk" is a lean and mean 2 minutes and 3 seconds. It doesn't overstay it's welcome and you are left wanting more by the conclusion of the song. Also, instead of resolving the song with, "You just talk shit", Lily Grace chose to remove that line and leave the audience on a cliffhanger, further elevating this song.
"Talk" is a must listen as it is one of Lily Grace's best songs to date. The Aussie singer has put out some amazing music in the past, but this takes the cake. You can listen to "Talk" on all streaming platforms now!
